While the name Shadow Oak Plantation is new, our plantation and facilities are rich with the memories of years of friend and families hunting. Formerly known as the Life of the South Plantation, our name is just about all that has changed. Owner Butch Houston knows returning guests will find the hunting facilities, lodging and meals are of the same quality – and that new guests will be pleasantly surprised.
