Hunters are in the woods by 9 a.m. and hunt until noon when lunch is served. By 2pm guests return to hunt quail until the last covey is found. The day’s harvest of quail is dressed, frozen, neatly packaged in one of our coolers and made ready for the return trip home.
In addition to quail hunting, we also offer “tower pheasant hunts” for guests who like the challenge of bagging a big game bird. Pheasant hunts from our tower have become increasingly popular among the hunters visiting our plantation.
Skeet hunting, on our lighted range, is available for fun or to hone shooting skills. Guests who arrive by 5 p.m. often enjoy a round or two of skeet shooting before dinner.
